Should you decide to go ahead with surgery with Dr Li, you will be provided specific instructions, however, this is a guideline for general care-taking measures.

Remember it is normal to feel a little dizzy and a little sleepy for several hours if you have had a general anaesthetic or sedation for your procedure.

For 24 hours after your procedure, you should NOT:

  • SIGN ANY IMPORTANT PAPERS OR LEGAL DOCUMENTS
  • MAKE ANY SIGNIFICANT DECISIONS

You should go home and rest and have a responsible adult stay with you overnight.

  • Heavy bleeding persists or bleeding starts again
  • Vomiting persists
  • Fever
  • Any increase in pain
